Q:  Do I have to change my bank?
A:  No.  We will deposit all funds to the bank of your choice.

Q:  How long does it take for my funds to be deposited in my bank?
A:  In most cases your funds can be deposited on the next business day.

Q:  Do I need a dedicated line to use a credit card terminal?
A:  No.  The terminal only holds the line for a few seconds and can easily be shared with a fax line or other secondary line you may have.

Q:  Do I have to close the batch or can the terminal be programmed to do it automatically?
A:  Your terminal can be programmed to auto settle.

Q:  Why should I choose The Business Link rather than my local bank?
A:  There are a number of reasons:

1. Most banks are not direct processors and the local branches are not very knowledgeable on merchant services.  We don’t make loans, we don’t have safety deposit boxes, and we don’t open CDs or money market accounts.  Merchant services is our only business, we are the experts.  We have all the products and services to help you to process transactions your way.

2. We will be the most competitive in pricing.  We have the expertise in setting up your account and training your staff to insure that you process in the most efficient and cost effective manner.

3. In addition to our 24 hour help desk, our office staff is available from 9:00 to 5:30 Monday through Friday to handle most of your questions or concerns without dealing with an endless automated phone system.  If you would like to speak to your sales representative, they will normally return your call within an hour.  Typically, your banker can only refer you to their 24 hour support number for help.

4. Since we are bank neutral, you can change your deposit bank at any time and never be concerned with changing your merchant account.

Getting Started

Getting started to accept credit cards is a fairly simple task. We offer a free, no obligation and non pressure experience. We can speak with you over the phone or depending on your location, make an appointment to meet with you at your place of business. Together we will determine the best and most cost efficient product(s) to meet your individual needs.

The application process only takes a few minutes. Your tax ID number, a void business check and some basic information about the business and the signer (owner or officer) is all that is necessary.

There are never any application or up-front fees.

Once your completed application is received, you should expect to be processing credit card transactions in 2-3 business days.
